Rustic stone homes have a very special character about them, and even a new farmhouse like this one drips with authenticity. Deca Architecture designed this countryside home in Antiparos, Greece.
This earthy, organic house takes shape as a bridge of stone stretching between two grassy slopes. In the north- and south-facing directions, the opposing hillsides rise in a sharp V, giving the house privacy on either side. Views from the east-west facades frame the sea.

Within these stone walls, four interior courtyards organize the home into five main living areas. Because of the steep slopes to either side, much of this hill house appears to be buried within the landscape, but natural light continues to flood interiors through floor-to-ceiling doors and glass walls with walkouts to the gardens.
